Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that focuses on the spine and nervous system, and how they affect the health and function of the entire body. It emphasizes hands-on care, particularly spinal adjustments, to restore proper alignment, improve mobility, and support nervous system function.
By correcting misalignments and improving how the spine and joints move, chiropractic care helps optimize the body’s natural healing abilities. It reduces nerve irritation, improves posture and function, and can help slow the wear and tear on joints, which in turn may reduce the progression, severity, and early onset of arthritis and other degenerative conditions.
Chiropractic care is not just about treating pain—it’s about enhancing your overall health, preventing future problems, and helping your body perform at its best.

Most people feel relief during or shortly after an adjustment, and any discomfort is typically very brief. Some adjustments may feel slightly uncomfortable for a split second, especially if you're new to chiropractic care or have difficulty relaxing—but it’s not painful in the way people often imagine.
In fact, many patients actually look forward to their adjustments because of the relief and increased mobility they experience afterward.
For those who do feel a moment of discomfort, it's often described as something that’s completely worth it for the results they get. If you're nervous or sensitive, let your us know—we can always adjust our technique to make it as comfortable as possible for you.

It all depends on your goals and needs. Some people come in for short-term care to get relief from pain or a specific issue. Others choose to continue with ongoing wellness or maintenance care to keep their body functioning at its best.
Although I recommend wellness treatments to all patients, it's completely up to you. Many people find that monthly “tune-ups” help prevent future problems, reduce stress on their joints and nervous system, and help them stay active and feel their best.
Whether you're here for quick relief or long-term health, we’ll work together to create a plan that fits your lifestyle, schedule, and goals.

It really depends on your condition, your health goals, and how your body responds to care. Some people feel better after just a few visits, especially if they’re coming in for relief from a recent issue or injury.
In our office, there are always two options:
Relief care (as-needed visits): This approach focuses on treating symptoms or pain when they arise. It’s ideal if you’re just looking for short-term relief, or if time and budget are limited.
Corrective care (long-term improvement): If time and finances allow, the better option is to go through a series of treatments designed to correct the underlying issue, not just relieve symptoms. This approach aims to create lasting, long-term results by improving posture, joint alignment, and overall spinal function.
Either path is up to you—we’ll guide you with recommendations, but ultimately, you choose the level of care that fits your goals and lifestyle.

Yes, but it depends on your specific policy. Most plans include chiropractic in their in-network benefits, but you can often see an out-of-network chiropractor as well.
What many patients don’t realize is that out-of-network costs are sometimes lower than in-network copays—especially in our office. In fact, our per-visit charges are often less than what many patients pay as a copay when they see an in-network provider. That means even if we’re technically out-of-network, your out-of-pocket expense could still be very affordable.
It’s always a good idea to check with your insurance provider—or Rosseannna can help you verify your benefits and compare costs.
